The interior design studio Proyecto Singular has relied on Light & Studio for the development of the lighting project of the well-known American restaurant franchise Fosters Hollywood, in which Light & Studio has been commissioned to conceptualize and develop the lighting project that will be launched in all its new establishments.
The thread of the proposal is based on the history of the brand, which is intended to relate through a sequence of stories that are told and transmitted through the light, and in which each space, as if from a chapter of the story is about, tells a part of that story through a specific technical and decorative lighting.
In this way, each space of the premises has aesthetic or symbolic references to the different elements that have built the history of the firm since its origins, such as the American way of life, Hollywood and the American motor industry.
The lighting contributes to favor an environment where to share moments of happiness, dispersion and entertainment, and where the luminosity, the brightness the warmth and the enthusiasm to live predominates.
One of the most important pieces of the project has been the famous identifying star of the company. The new appearance of this luminaire has a much more simplified aesthetic. The characteristic blue color disappears and the star transforms into a line of neon light. In the same way, in the rest of the elements of the logo, we have opted for a more modern representation in which light bulbs disappear and light lines are created in amber color through a luminaire treated with an electrolytic copper bath with which we have achieved a much more elaborated piece.
Last but not least, Light & Studio has developed every single decorative luminaires.
Special mention to the microphone type suspensions, in which, despite its great technical complexity, we have managed to create a unique, representative and identifiable piece that perfectly captures the values and the essence of the firm and gives the place that characteristic look that transport us to the golden age of Hollywood.
