Botania is the new gastronomic adventure of the La Rumba group, located in the VIP Plaza de España Hotel, in the heart of Madrid.

The interior design studio Proyecto Singular has relied once again on Light & Studio to create the lighting design, delivering a project full of life, where light is one of the indisputable protagonists.

Botania seeks to captivate and transgress. Deceiving the viewer, making him to think that he is in an external environment instead of in an interior.

To achieve this end, the decorative proposal is inspired by natural materials such as woods, bamboos and rattan fabrics and african inpiration raffia, which are used in ceiling and floor lighting, and which are wisely combined with noble materials such as metals, marbles or velvet.

Indirect light is used to highlight the Masai-inspired pieces of the ceiling, as well as to enhance the giant leaves and natural vegetation that cover the upper part of the restaurant, providing a game of lights and shades that brigs realism and drama to the environment.

Botania has different rooms with a common thread but with a differentiated aesthetics, since in each of them an element of nature predominates (sand, water...). Lighting here works like a cohesive element, nuancing or enhancing the different decorative environments of the restaurant and giving rise to different atmospheres at different times of the day.
