INTERIOR LIGHTING DETAIL

In the heart of Madrid, near the Plaza de España you can find the Hotel Mercure. Whith more than 97 rooms divided into five floors, reception, hall, vermouth Bar and impressive conference rooms.

Light & Studio has been in charge of designing the lighting project throughout the hotel. The complete restoration project has a very specific concept: emblematic places of Madrid. Each floor is a representative street of the capital and each common area has been designed as a significant place in Madrid. Alcalá Street, La Plaza de España or Gran Via are represented in this project.

In the rooms of the Mercure hotel, Light & Studio has opted for ceiling lamps and decorative luminaires that enhance the decoration. A warm atmosphere, taking into account the needs and well-being of the hotel's guests. In bathrooms, the spaces has been highlighted with backlighting and technical lighting.

The lighting project in the common areas of hall, reception and vermouth Bar is unique. Light & Studio has designed an exclusive lighting that plays with the different scenes and environments of the hotel depending on the time zone and the use of the establishment.

Rooms with a backlit fabric with led strip with which different color temperatures or intensities can be obtained depending on the time of day and can even simulate a sunset or a sunrise.

The architecture merges with the lighting in the common areas. Light & Studio has created a complex composition of hexagons suspended in the air that integrate perfectly with the architecture of the hotel and coexist with footlights that share the same aesthetics.

Different sensations, environments and scenes inside the same hotel inspired and designed in Madrid.
