Light as a Thread of Memory
In the new Adolfo Domínguez store at Las Rozas Village, light is no longer a functional element, it becomes a suspended narrative. An installation that recovers the essence of traditional looms, evoking the quiet beauty of repetition, craftsmanship, and ritual gesture.
Designed by Light & Studio in collaboration with the brand’s creative team, the intervention transforms the storefront into a threshold: an aerial composition of luminous rings, like threads held in tension or floating work surfaces. Each ring, with its own diameter and intensity, generates a rhythm that suggests motion, as if light itself were weaving, breathing, folding.
The project begins with a clear intention: to create a piece capable of capturing attention without spectacle.
A visual pause that invites contemplation and offers a glimpse of what happens inside: that ongoing dialogue between material and idea, between precision and soul, that defines the Adolfo Domínguez universe.
Here, tradition becomes visible through light. Not quoted, but reimagined, projected into space as a tactile, subtle, almost liturgical emotion.
