An office lighting project is always a complex challenge. The aesthetic dimension must be accompanied by rigorous technical consultancy—one that understands workflow patterns, schedules, spatial dynamics, and daily routines—to ensure the lighting design truly meets the needs of both the present and the future.

The office project designed by interior design studio Proyecto Singular for the firm Afiniti is one of those challenges we at Light & Studio particularly enjoy.

This is a hybrid office concept where technical lighting had to coexist with decorative elements of a more emotional nature. To achieve this, we chose specific technical luminaires for functional areas such as workstations, circulation zones, and meeting rooms. These are complemented by carefully selected decorative pieces—wall sconces and ambient lighting fixtures—that bring warmth, scale, and texture to the space.

Each lighting element was chosen with a dual purpose: functional and aesthetic. Here, light is not only a visual aid but also an architectural material that helps define areas, establishes spatial hierarchies, and enhances the overall sense of comfort.

Furthermore, dynamic lighting scenes were programmed to adapt to different times of the day, promoting healthy lighting cycles throughout the workday. The result is a workspace that fosters well-being without compromising on visual appeal—warm, inviting, and stimulating in equal measure.
