Terracota

An artisanal space, where shapes and geometries draw us back to nature. Strong contrasts between light and shadow highlight the spatial design by Helena Cánovas Studio, using lighting to enhance volumes and illuminate only where truly needed.

All the luminaires made with natural materials were custom-designed for this project in collaboration with Helena Cánovas. The leather cord pendants frame the bar with dual lighting: direct light on the countertop and indirect light casting shadows from within the luminaire.

The two large luminaires above the private dining room, crafted from earthen blends, evoke the image of a moon. Every area was conceived to evoke different moods at different times of day: a lighting scheme that mimics natural light during the day and gradually shifts to sunset tones by evening. The element of surprise is paired with a cocktail.

In the private room, a surprise hides behind the curtains: when least expected, two neon-lit faces illuminate from behind the fabric and interact with a playful wink—a bespoke design created especially for Terracota

Don’t miss the descent to the restrooms, where a linear light embedded in the floor marks the path and small beams highlight the textures of the walls. At the bottom of the stairs, another surprise awaits—someone wakes up as you arrive.
