At Light & Studio, we have had the privilege of collaborating with the Spanish maison on a variety of national and international projects, crafting lighting solutions that integrate naturally into its architectural language

Each intervention is conceived to accompany—never impose—the brand’s aesthetic vision, revealing textures, materials, and silhouettes through warm, precise, and expressive light. From ephemeral installations to flagship stores, our goal remains constant: to shape atmospheres that breathe Loewe’s essence without disturbing its rhythm

Loewe – The Flipside

Selfridges, London–Temporary Installation

As part of the Radical Luxury campaign by Selfridges & Co, the former Selfridges Hotel in London hosted The Flipside, a multisensory experience that invited visitors to reimagine luxury through nontraditional lenses.

Under the motto “let’s look at luxury through a radical lens,” the installation offered an immersive glimpse into the narratives and influences shaping the future of luxury

Loewe invited us to design the lighting concept for a temporary capsule—a conceptual exhibition space where past, present, and future merged in a transformative environment.

Our approach at Light & Studio was scenographic: darkness became the backdrop for dramatic contrasts, with reflections cast by mirrored floors and walls. Familiar objects—appliances, vegetation, tools—multiplied into surreal compositions, forming a dreamlike forest of sculptural forms.

Lighting was used to distinguish and elevate each object through precise accentuation and strategic reflection, offering moments of focus within a seemingly chaotic landscape.

Loewe – Gran Vía, Madrid

The brand’s first boutique in Spain

Loewe’s very first boutique opened its doors in December 1939 on Madrid’s most iconic avenue, Gran Vía No. 8. Over time, various renovations gradually distanced the space from its original spirit.

In its most recent refurbishment, the brand chose to restore that essence.

Light & Studio developed a tailored lighting concept to recover the boutique’s character with subtlety and elegance. Custom-designed LED panels were used to highlight original furniture without overwhelming the space. The result: a low-intensity, warm lighting effect that integrates seamlessly throughout the store.

We focused on restoring the ceiling’s visual presence, giving prominence to the sculptural Bohemian crystal chandeliers. Perimetral lighting on ceilings and coves creates a soft halo that enhances these fixtures and offers visitors a complete, immersive shopping experience.

Loewe – International Retail Projects

Since Jonathan Anderson became Loewe’s Creative Director in 2013, the brand has undergone a profound aesthetic renewal—reinterpreting 168 years of craftsmanship through a contemporary lens.

Light & Studio has supported this evolution through retail lighting projects in Spain, Italy, China, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia. Across all locations, our aim has been consistent: to preserve the brand’s sensorial identity through a lighting strategy that feels warm, enveloping, and elevated.

Designed by acclaimed New York architect Peter Marino, Loewe’s interiors balance classical references with a minimal, material-driven aesthetic. Our lighting adapts to this language with bespoke solutions that bring out textures, volumes, and finishes with nuance and precision.

Casa Loewe – Florist at Serrano 34

At the historic headquarters of the brand, the former carriage entrance has been transformed into an unexpected space: an experimental florist filled with fragrance, colour, and light.

To highlight the natural freshness of the flowers, we installed discreet LED projectors with a high colour-rendering index (CRI). This technology brings out the full spectrum of floral hues, delivering an environment that feels vibrant, authentic, and alive.

It’s one of Loewe’s most poetic and sensorial moments—a quiet celebration of emotional luxury, expressed through nature and radical simplicity. A living extension of the universe.
