Foster’s Hollywood

With a concept that reinterprets the American Way of Life, interior design studio ProyectoSingular entrusted Light & Studio with the development of the lighting design for the renewed image of Foster’s Hollywood. This project combines storytelling, symbolism and popular culture through a custom-designed blend of technical and decorative lighting.

Here, light becomes a narrative tool. Each area within the restaurant is conceived as a chapter in the brand’s story: a sequence of spaces that reference key moments and visual codes—from the American motor industry to Hollywood’s golden age—using dedicated lighting strategies for each scene.

The lighting concept fosters a warm and vibrant environment, where brightness, energy and optimism set the tone. A place designed for sharing, enjoyment, and immersion in a distinctly American atmosphere.

One of the project’s most iconic gestures is the reinterpretation of the brand’s classic star. The original blue emblem has been transformed into a continuous neon line with a more refined and contemporary look. Similarly, the traditional bulb-lined logo has been replaced with amber-hued linear lighting, developed using copper electroplating to achieve a more textured and elevated finish.

All decorative lighting elements—pendants and wall-mounted pieces—were designed and developed in-house by Light & Studio. A special mention goes to the microphone-style suspended fixture: a technically complex yet highly distinctive piece that captures the spirit and values of the brand. It brings a unique visual identity to the space, evoking the glamour of American cinema and turning the restaurant into an immersive stage with a personality of its own
