Nueva Carolina is more than just a space. It is a capsule of creative possibilities in the heart of Madrid. Conceived as a multidisciplinary venue, it hosts a wide range of activities, from photo shoots and coworking to film productions, corporate events, workshops, conferences, and even private celebrations. Its versatility makes it a chameleon-like setting, capable of adapting to each story unfolding within its walls.

With 420 square meters bathed in natural light, this urban oasis surprises with its vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. Hundreds of carefully placed indoor plants create a feeling of organic freshness, seamlessly blending with an aesthetic inspired by the optimistic spirit of the 1950s—evoking the visual glamour of California’s golden-age Beverly Hills hotels.

The lighting design, fully managed by Light & Studio, was built on a clear premise: to accompany without overwhelming. For this, we developed a lighting system that balances the elegance of decorative design with discreet technical resolution.

The suspended luminaires, custom-designed for the project, lend a clear and sophisticated identity, drawing from art deco codes reinterpreted with a contemporary gaze. These pieces coexist with subtle architectural lighting that blends into the space, respecting the prominence of natural light during the day.

Altogether, the lighting proposal not only allows the atmosphere to shift according to thetype of event or activity, but also reinforces the timeless and scenographic character of thevenue. A space in constant transformation, where light becomes an essential ally in shapingevery experience.
