Amazonico

An exuberant and sensory universe in the heart of Madrid. The Amazonico project, developed in collaboration with Lázaro Rosa-Violán’s studio, transports visitors into a sophisticated and immersive jungle, where every element—from botanical textures to music or the rhythm of the open kitchen—harmonises with a precisely crafted lighting scenography.

At Light & Studio, we approached this intervention as a symphony of warm tones and carefully orchestrated effects, aiming to highlight the lush greenery, the golden reflections of the furnishings, and the theatricality of the space. The lighting was designed and positioned to follow the varied rhythms of the experience: the dynamism of the show cooking, the calm of the dining area, the mystery of the restrooms, and the nocturnal elegance of the subterranean jazz club.

The vegetation is outlined with amber accents and directional beams that evoke the feeling of sunset. Above the bar, integrated projectors and 2200K LED strips reveal an oasis of fruits and textures. The “starry sky” effect in the dining room, achieved with dimmable LED points of varying colour temperatures, adds a sense of depth and distance, reinforcing spatial immersion.

In the glass-enclosed kitchen, high-performance lighting ensures functional precision: warm colour temperature and high colour rendering to support daily operations while maintaining visual coherence.

The Jazz Club, a hidden gem on the lower level, offers an intimate and immersive atmosphere. Backlit niches and ceilings treated with micro LEDs create a discreet glow that accompanies the live music like a scenic whisper.
