El Invernadero

An immersive project where vegetation and light choreography guide the visitor through a unique sensory journey.

Light & Studio collaborated with Kuboene Studio on the new haute cuisine venture of Michelin-starred chef Rodrigo de la Calle. Alongside interior designer Natalia Casco, the restaurant recreates the interior of a contemporary greenhouse, where lighting becomes the central thread of the experience.

From dawn to a starry night, the space transforms through a sequence of atmospheres that follow the rhythm of the day. The RGB White backlighting system simulates natural daylight and adapts to the time of day, while backlit furniture introduces chiaroscuro effects and allows for subtle adjustments in color temperature, balancing function and atmosphere. The bar area, filled with real plants, is enhanced with cooler tones to highlight its presence.

Plant shadows projected onto stretched fabric panels evoke the structure of a greenhouse. Above the tables, bespoke luminaires crafted in natural materials such as clay and rattan pay tribute to the organic spirit that defines the project.

As sunset arrives, amber tones bathe the space in warmth, creating an intimate ambience that anticipates the night.

The ceiling then transforms into a starlit sky, closing the experience with a contemplative and evocative scene.
