Light&Studio arrives in A Coruña to offer a space where you can explore, share, and convey a unique vision of light.
In addition to providing a creative, professional, and enriching service backed by our extensive experience in lighting projects, we also offer the possibility to rent this multidisciplinary space to host any type of event or activity.

The Space

With a privileged location, Light&Studio features a double façade overlooking two of the city’s landmarks — María Pita Square and the Marina. The space has been designed with great respect for its past, preserving its beauty and restoring original woodwork, stone walls, and the marks left by the passage of time.

Two distinct spaces are created, arranged on two levels and with different orientations.
On one hand, the María Pita Room —the main open-plan area— features versatile lighting that can be adapted to different uses and atmospheres (workspace, lounge area by the fireplace, library corner, etc.). The combination of spotlights and indirect lighting that frame and highlight the beauty of its architecture makes it a unique and comfortable space, easily adaptable to any possible setting.

In this area lies the bathroom, which conceals a large ceiling mirror with integrated lighting. This system allows for a play of direct and indirect light, reflecting the surrounding vegetation and creating a sense of depth. The subtle glimmers visible from outside generate a play of light and shadow that enhances the atmosphere of the space.

On the other hand, the La Marina corner is an open space facing the sea, bathed in abundant natural light. As the sun sets, it transforms—its generous height, dominated by the suspended luminaire, becomes a key feature, while the changing wall textures come to life. Different layers of light filter through, casting perfect shadows and enhancing the rich variety of textures found throughout the space.

We project shadows onto the wall, playing with the texture of the perforated metal sheet of the staircase. Spotlights not only illuminate the plants hidden beneath it but also create a captivating play of shadows. Each step is lit from within, enhancing the sense of depth and rhythm in the space.

The combination of the space’s original essence with a truly special lighting design makes this place the perfect meeting point — a space to experience and work with light.
