In the heart of Chamartín, PABÚ offers a gastronomic proposal centred on micro-seasonal cuisine, shaped by a sober, timeless, and precisely composed aesthetic. A fully glazedfaçade acts as its calling card—revealing an interior where raw finishes coexist with an eclectic and elegant design language.

To reinforce this visual identity, Light & Studio developed a lighting scheme with a purely technical approach, conceived to shape atmosphere without visual noise. Using linear track systems and adjustable projectors, we created a variety of lighting effects that bring the space to life: focal light over tables to foster intimacy, pinpoint accents that draw attention to selected artworks, and integrated linear lighting that softly washes shelving and storage with indirect light.

The entire composition follows a logic of contrast: light and shadow highlight architecture, furniture, and product, evoking a gallery-like quality across the different zones.

Lighting intensity control plays a fundamental role in transforming the space throughout the day. During daylight hours, brightness and clarity take centre stage; by night, the lighting becomes more subdued and focused, generating a warmer, more intimate atmosphere that gently filters through the transparent façade—inviting passersby to discover what’s happening inside.

At nightfall, one final gesture completes the narrative: a subtle projection of light onto the restaurant’s signage, treating it like a work of art. A closing statement that ties together the interior and exterior, and encapsulates the project’s lighting concept.
